Your winning bid will place Officer Teddy Bear into the arms of a child battling cancer in the Rio Grande Valley.  All proceeds, and the bear, will be donated to Friends for Hope, a non-profit organization that raises money and provides support to the Vannie E. Cook Children's Cancer Clinic.  The clinic's mission is to provide treatment to children in South Texas who suffer from cancer and blood disorders, regardless of their ability to pay for services.  Since 2001, more than 10,000 families have received life-saving treatments in the Valley, without having to travel to receive quality care.
